Leadership and Manners Seminar
Is your dog the King or Queen of the house? This seminar is helpful for any dog owner, but is especially useful if your dog is exhibiting challenging, mildly fearful, rude, or pushy behavior. This informational seminar focuses on what you can do to form a good relationship with your dog(s) using leadership to communicate with them and create good manners. We talk about how to create that leadership using simple methods and without the use of any harsh physical methods. This seminar is lecture only, not an interactive class and is for humans only due to space limitations. There will also be time to talk about problem solving techniques for specific behavioral issues. This seminar is approximately 1 hour and the cost is $10. Next Seminar: Thursday, April 8th at 6pm. Rock Solid Recall Class
Get your dog to reliably come when called! A reliable recall is likely one of the most important things you can teach your dog! Not only will it keep your dog safe, but you will also be able to enjoy walking along a trail or swimming at a lake without a leash since you know that you can call your dog back if needed. This class is ideal for puppies or dogs that have no previous recall training as well as dogs that are already on the road to a reliable recall. This is a 4 week class and the cost is $60. Leash Walking Class
Would you like to enjoy a nice walk with your dog without them pulling you down the block? WouldnÕt it be nice to have them walking nicely by your side and ignoring distractions? This class is ideal for puppies or dogs that have no previous leash walking training as well as dogs that have been pulling on leash for years. If your dog is highly reactive on leash, please email Heather to see if this class is a good fit or if a private lesson prior to this class would be best. This is a 4 week class and the cost is $60. Canine Good Citizen Practice Hour
This class is ideal for dogs that are on their way to becoming a Canine Good Citizen or Therapy dog. We run though all of the CGC test items and the instructor will help you determine if you are prepared to take the test or which behaviors you could use work on.
