Bean
Bean is an ex-puppy mill breeding dog and is sometimes shy around our doggy daycare staff. Bean is really comfortable in the play rooms and enjoys the company of the other dogs! This past week, Bean spent a few nights boarding in our dog hotel and did great with it! I am always excited when we see dogs that have been rescued from such poor conditions like a puppy mill, and then the succeed in doggy daycare! It really is a cinderella story!

Wine and Wag
It was a slow start for Eloise.. She had a bit of a Wine and Wag hangover!
Last night we were at Wine and Wag which was Downtown in Minneapolis and put on by the K9-Connection. What a great time and event! It was so much fun to see so many of the PPP dogs out and having a great time! So many of our pet industry friends helped to sponsor this fundraiser for Homeward Bound rescue, and we were located right next to Bone Adventure. About 1/2 way through the night we started having some fun taking pictures of Eloise who belongs to one of the Bone Adventure employees.

Twin Cities Puppy Bowl
Yesterday we released the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl. So much work went into putting this together with local rescues and other pet related businesses! All the dogs featured are available for adoption from local rescues! Visit the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl website to view it. Happy watching!

The Twin Cities Puppy Bowl is Back!
Get ready Twin Cities. One of my favorite events of the year is back and bigger than ever; the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl! Last Year Pampered Pooch Playground was a main sponsor of the event, and this year we have moved aside, and let our other business, Bubbly Paws Dog Wash sponsor it. Also part of the event are Sarah Beth Photography, Sidewalk Dog and Just Paws Training. We will be filming all the puppy cuteness this weekend and it will be released online very soon! Look for some pictures this weekend from the filming! Most of the puppies featured in the Twin Cities Puppy Bowl are available for adoption from local rescues. As we always talk about, one of the core values of Pampered Pooch Playground is to give back to the community in which we are located and this is just one way that we do it. Do you donate to local dog rescue groups?
We sure do! There are lots of great dog rescue groups in the Minneapolis area. We have picked Pet Haven of Minnesota to foster dogs with. We do donate to other dog rescues and causes including The Pet Project, The Animal Humane Society, Can Do Canines, Metropolitan Mutts, MN SNAP, Minnesota Boxer Rescue and various other groups.
