This weekend we are in Wisconsin visiting Trycia’s family and Roxy loves to play with Roman who is her sisters dog. Roman attends doggy daycare in Wisconsin a few days a week and he LOVES to play! Roman and Roxy chased the frisbee for a few minutes then Roxy got tired of playing. A few hours later when Roman finally decided to lay down, he found the perfect spot in the leaves!

We stopped a small hotel that ended up being super dog friendly while we were on vacation. I thought that it was pretty cool, from water bowls and treat dispensers in the lobby to a special welcome sign for the pooch. I wish we would have brought Roxy with us!
List night we stopped for a drink with and started to talk to a woman who takes her dog to a doggy daycare here in Seattle. I asked if her daycare had an iPhone app, and she said “NO” and instantly Tweeted her husband who is a big wig at Microsoft. She was really upset that they did not have an app! I also mentioned that we were the first and still one of the only doggy daycares in the country to have an app. Now the next question, how soon until Microsoft builds an app for the doggy daycare world?

Kinnick loves the HUGE outside play area at Pampered Pooch Playground.
When we first opened the doggie daycare we only had 1 Bernese Mountain Dog, and it was Roxy…. Now we have about 2 every day. Kinnick is one of the puppies that comes often and when he fist started to attend doggie daycare he had a HUGE ‘fro on his head. He has now grown into his ‘fro! Kinnick can be seen hanging out in the ruff house!

Sparky is an Australian Shepard mix who really enjoys coming to doggy daycare. Sparky is often seen riding in his dad’s Jeep Wrangler with his head leaning over the side so he can have all of the wind in his face. Our outside play area is Sparky’s favorite place to be, and he gets really excited when we play with the water and pools. Sparky’s best friends are Boone (golden retriever), Lilah (golden retriever) and Finnegan (black lab).
We have 2 pomeranians that come to doggie daycare often (Bella and Poomba). Both of them are great and so behaved and have a great time playing. Today Bella (in the picture) was here and tearing it up in the little dog room. Bella gets excited each time someone walks in the room, she has to run up to you right away to greet you! I got all excited when Bella’s dad came to pick her up because I thought Bella was the icon on our Facebook page. But after looking close, it was Poomba!! I felt like a dork!
Today was our first day back since our vacation and I honestly really missed all the dogs! It is nice to get away, but it is great back into the regular swing of things.
