Hotel dog nap time

dog daycare nap time in Minneapolis, mn and Edina, MNToday, Melissa one of our staff members caught Lobster (golden retriever) and Casper (boxer puppy) snuggled up taking a nap together.  Today the staff was really busy getting things together for next week and making sure everything is in place.  Just a reminder, we are full for dog daycare on the 23rd and 24th, and if you plan to attend other days, please make your reservation soon as there are only a few spaces.  This Sunday night is our staff holiday party and late pick up will not be available.

Shhhh… Sleeping Puppies

Boxer Puppy at dog day care in edina,MNToday we had 2 very young boxer puppies that came to play at dog day care.  Casper, the white one is 13 weeks old and Bella is 4 months old.  Both Bella and Casper decided to take a nap together this afternoon.  They have different owners, but they are best friends at daycare.

This afternoon Jenny was busy in our Spa grooming a bunch of dogs.

A few reminders about the cold weather, make sure to make your reservations in advance.  We fill up really fast when it is so cold out.

Nap time on the new bed

Ember and Weenie love the new red beds that we just picked up.  Both dogs come for doggie daycare 3 times a week and love spending some time on the bed together.

Some great news from the weekend events.  The food drive we did for the Pet Project raised over 10,000 pounds of food and over $800 in cash.  The Minnesota boxer rescue raised $1000.  We were so proud to be part of both events, and are amazed with the turnout!  If you want to see some of the pictures, Modern Life Photo put them on their blog.

This wednesday, MA Rosco from the FOX 9 morning news will air her feature on DOGA which was shot at Pampered Pooch Playground.  Don’t worry, if you can’t watch it, we will have all the clips on our website.  Speaking of Doga, the next session is this Saturday morning, details are on our events page.

Sydney's Trick

Sydney the boxer has a pretty cool trick and we made a video of it today while she was at doggy daycare.  It was a beautiful day today, and all of the dogs loved being outside!!

This one's for Rowdy

Rowdy and AmberWe have 2 white boxers that come to doggy daycare very often and they always are excited to walk in the door.  Roxy (who is deaf) and Rowdy both have tons of energy and very rarely take a break from daycare.  Rowdy has torn his ACL and needed to have surgery.  Their parents have been spoiling both of the boxers for the past few days, and today Rowdy went in for surgery.  The surgery is the easy part, try keeping him calm for the next 3 months!!  Roxy and Rowdy’s parents made a website so you can track his recovery, check out rowdysrecovery.com.  I think i am just as nervous as their parents are.  I really do think all of the dogs that come in the building are part of our family and I worry about each one of them.  I just talked to Rowdy and Roxy’s parents and his surgery went well.  I know they will talk more about it on their blog.

Louie

louieLouie is one of the boxers that comes to doggy daycare a few times each week.  This weekend Louie stopped over to our warm water dog wash at Woofstock that we ran and he got all nice and clean.  I think the fact that he was clean made him more energetic to play today :) .  Louie likes to play with just about every dog that comes to daycare.  The dogs enjoyed a great afternoon playing inside and outside.

Oh, get your red marker out, and circle Saturday, October 31st (Halloween).  This years Woof-n-Treat party is going to be even bigger and better than last year.  Details soon!
