Dog Hotel and Boarding
Pampered Pooch Playground Dog Hotel acts as your dogs home away from home when you are away. All overnight hotel and boarding guests are checked into our doggy daycare program which means that they are cage-free and playing from 6:30am-8:30pm each day (except during feeding times). Our standard suites are about 6 feet high, and 4 feet by 4 feet wide. They are big enough to fit a large breed dog comfortably and come with an elevated bed. Our luxury suites are 10 feet by 15 feet and come complete with an elevated bed, soft lighting and a webcam. During peak dog boarding times, crates might be used with our smaller friends. Our entire building is heated and air conditioned so your pooch will always be comfortable!
At Pampered Pooch Playground we put the safety of your dog and others as our top priority, we require a 2 hour evaluation before your dog spends the night and before a reservation can be made. The evaluation must be completed at least 2 days prior to any boarding our dog hotel stay. Hotel reservations are required, and we do have a cancellation policy. Pampered Pooch Playground is a founding member of the Twin Cities Dog Daycare Association, which helps to set standards of care in the Minneapolis area!
Any dog that enters our building is required to show proof of Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Para-influenza) and all dogs must have current tick and flea protection from April-October and a negative fecal exam once per year. If any of these shots have lapsed, you will need to wait 10 days from the time the shot was given until they can enter our building. All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age.
What to Bring:
- Food (We don’t accept raw diets).
- Medications- bring them in the original bottle with the directions on the bottle.
- All suites come with a raised blue bed, and we also have blankets available. If you think your pooch would be more comfortable with a blanket from home you can bring one, but please make sure it can easily fit in 2ft x 1ft x 2ft bin.
What Not to Bring:
- Bones and Toys- these pose a huge choking hazard. Trust us, your pooch will be so tired from playing all day, they won’t play with their toys.
- Bowls- we have plenty and they are cleaned after each meal.
- Beds- if you bring a bed it must be under 2 feet wide (toy dog size), and be able to fit in the dogs overnight bins. Large beds should be left at home.

Prices are for a 24 hour period, and after that doggy daycare rates apply. All hotel guests need to be dropped off by NOON (If the dog is not dropped off by noon, they will be checked in at noon for billing purposes).
