Lilly, the Basset Hound, has been coming to the Pampered Pooch Playground for over 3 years, and enjoys hanging out in the Canine Cove. Summer is one of her favorite months because she gets to sunbath in our outdoor play area, and play with the sprinkler. One of Lilly’s talents is “show me your belly”, where she rolls over on her back with her feet up in the air (check out our photo gallery for a picture of Lilly doing this). Lilly is also a regular in the PPP hotel and her parents love to watch her on the luxury suite webcam. Each day when Lilly comes in her dad gives her a carrot before she gets to go see all of her friends! We love Lilly and glad she is part of the PPP family!

Kinnick
Kinnick is the largest of all the Bernese Mountain Dogs that come to our doggy daycare weighing in at about 120 pounds. One way you can tell him apart is by his trademark poofy hair on his head. Kinnick has been coming to us since he was a puppy and is now almost 3 years old! It is often asked, “what is up with the name Kinnick”? His mom went to college at the University of Iowa, and the football stadium is called Kinnick Stadium. He might be a huge dog, but he loves hanging out with the smaller dogs in Waggers Way or the Canine Cove. Kinnick is also a regular face at Bubbly Paws and pulls his mom to the door for his nightly treat!
Mila
Mila is a Beagle that comes to doggy daycare a couple times each week. To say she gets excited for lunch is an understatement! The moment she hears Ellen‘s (the lunch lady) voice she starts howling because she knows lunch is near! Besides food, she loves chasing the ball in the canine cove, and playing with Hobbes and Olive. Mila always brings a smile to our face and we love having her visit us!
Skippy
Skippy the goldendoodle has been using our doggy daycare and hotel service for over 3 years. When he gets dropped off, he always turns his head and smiles in excitement… Then he gets even more excited when we take him into the play area where he gets to hang out with all of his doggy friends. Skippy auditioned for the Sandy in the musical Annie and we gave him a pre-audition bath so he would look his best. He did not get the part, but if we were the judges, we would have picked him! Skippy’s parents love to send him postcards when they are out of town (we think it is pretty cute as well). Our facebook fans will remember this video of the postcard Skippy received last spring.
Captain
Captain is a sweet black lab that has been coming to doggy daycare at the PPP since the beginning. He hasn’t met a ball, dog, or person that he doesn’t like. When at PPP, Captain can be found in waggers way, ruff house, or in canine cove, depending on where the ball is OR where Brent (dog handler) is. Captain has found the perfect balance of fun and relaxation at daycare, when he isn’t romping with his pals you can find him lounging on our red couch dreaming of tennis balls. Some of his favorite dog pals include Wrigley, Finnegan, and Skippy.
Louis
Louis is a Goldendoodle that has been coming to doggy daycare for over a year now. He is soooo excited to walk in the door he can hardly contain himself! Louis loves all dogs and can be seen playing in the Ruff House or Waggers Way, depending on his energy level
He loves water and when he can’t play with the hose outside he likes to dump water on the floor and lay in it. Louis can also be seen in our spa getting groomed by Tami. We love having Louis visit us at Pampered Pooch Playground!
Blu

Blu is a cattle dog mix that has been coming to doggy daycare for over 2 years. She is ready to play the minute she walks throughout the front door, especially when she sees Roxy and Neddie! Blu’s signature move is her “butt wiggle”, but can also be seen playing with the water outside or running around Waggers Way with her other buddies. We love having Blu come visit us each week!
Roscoe
Roscoe is a beagle mix who just turned 6 months old. She has been coming to doggy daycare since she was a wee-little puppy. When Roscoe first started coming she would spend her mornings in Waggers Way playing hard, and then move to the Canine Cove so she could nap in the afternoon. Now, Roscoe no longer needs her afternoon puppy naps, she has graduated to a permanent Waggers Way member and spends her afternoons playing with all of her buddies! Some of Roscoe’s best friends are Perazzi and Phoebe, who are both lab puppies. Roscoe is a joy to have around and we are happy she is a PPP pup!
Nittany
Nittany is a mini Australian Shepherd that comes to doggy daycare a couple days a week. She is the life of the party in the Canine Cove and can be seen chasing a ball or playing with her pal, Chena (another Australian Shepard). Did we mention that she LOVES the ball? She will carry the ball around in her mouth and keep hitting your leg with it until you agree to play fetch. Nittany is one pooch that is full of energy and can rarely be seen napping. We are happy to say she is a PPP regular!
Side note… The way we were able to get this great picture was by holding the ball next to the camera!
Lola
Lola, a yellow lab, has been coming to us every weekday for the past year. She can be seen hanging out in Waggers Way or the Canine Cove, depending on where her boyfriend, Rock (German Shorthair) is. Lola is always up for getting personal attention and hugs from all of the dog handlers, and also loves relaxing on our raised beds or couches. One of Lola’s favorite activities is getting a bath and brush out with her special shampoo and spritz, because she loves smelling and looking her best! Lola is a joy to have at PPP, and we are glad she is part of our family!
